What Visitors Are Saying

A newly finished building open to the public to explore and learn of Jesus Christ and eternal families. Free to all, including a really nice video and amazing art and displays. Children friendly! Most highly recommended!! Come and see.

Try to come here at sunset if you can! The view over the river is so pretty and the golden hour lights the temple just right.

Majestic and breathtaking! To have this as an operating temple again among the saints brings feelings of awe and wonder! Very quiet and peaceful around the grounds. Love how it over looks old Nauvoo and how you can see this building from all over the city.

We only visited the outside, but it was beautiful. The views of the area surrounding the temple are stunning. The beauty of the temple itself is worth the trip. It's a solemn experience when you consider the history of that place while visiting.

We stopped here based on good reviews, I wasn't disappointed. Just as other reviewers said that the ground is very beautiful. I am glad that we stopped here, walked around and enjoy the beautiful ground.
